This photo is from October 2013, but it does a pretty good job of encapsulating many of the things I love.

My car: I dreamed of owning a European luxury car since I was very young.  The BMW blew me away.  I love it and it is a thrill to drive.

The golf course:  This photo was taken at the Riverside Country Club in Carlsbad, New Mexico.  My house was on the #6 fairway and I started playing golf there.  Year round!

The golf shirt:  It’s from Sunriver Resort near Bend, Oregon.  It is my one of my favorite places on the planet and I truly feel like I’ve gone to heaven when I arrive, whether it’s to ski in the winter or bike, canoe, horseback ride, or swim in the summer.  I do miss the Pacific Northwest.

The letters after my name: BSME, P.E. – I am a graduate of the University of Memphis (formerly Memphis State University) with a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and a registered Professional Engineer in the state of Alabama.

My family: I have been married for 22 years and have spent the last fourteen of those years being a mom to our daughter.

Fun fact: There is a section of Interstate 240 in Memphis, Tennessee named for my great uncle, William B. Fowler, who was the City Engineer for over 40 years.  His wife chaired the original Memphis City Beautiful Commission.
